Approximately 10,000 people die each year from cardiovascular disease (CVD) - including coronary heart disease (CHD), stroke and other circulatory diseases. CVD is the most common cause of death in Ireland, accounting for 32% of all deaths. The largest number of these deaths relate to CHD - mainly heart attack - at 5,000. Siren Training Ltd is proud to be aligned with the American Heart Association and are a recognised training site for the Irish Heart Foundation offering Basic Life Support training for the general public and healthcare professionals.
Siren Training Ltd is one of only a few companies nationally offering online training in Basic Life support which provides an internationally recognised qualification from the American Heart Association. The IHF/AHA certified courses are recognised by An Bord Altranais and the Irish College of General Practitioners as they provide CPD points for their members.
