Description
This course works in association with the Irish Heart Foundation. Our Heart Safe AED course teaches applicants the basic techniques of CPR and skills on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course also covers these topics for children and infants.
What is an AED?
An AED is an Automated External Defibrillator. It is a computerised defibrillator which analyses the rhythm of heat beat of a person in cardiac arrest. The system then uses voice prompts to advise you if a shock is required.
